Daniel began his musical career progressing through the East Riding of Yorkshire Music Service and performing with several of their ensembles on a variety of instruments including the Double Bass, Saxophone and flute. He later chose to further his studies achieving a BA(hons) in Music and an MAPerf from the University of Salford. Daniel also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education with specialist multi woodwind instrumental tuition from the Royal Northern College of Music.
His particular interests lie in music and performance psychology, community music engagement and large scale ensemble development and performance.
Daniel aims to create an accessible and creative music culture within Hull that everyone can be part of, experience and continue to develop and engrain long into the city’s exciting future.
