Within our beautiful home at Maister House, we have a variety of rooms and spaces that are available for hire. Prices are split into two main options, a half day (3.5 hours) or a full day (8 hours) during normal office hours (Mon-Fri, 9-5). If you require a booking outside these hours, please use our contact form below and we can discuss your requirements.
All of our spaces include free unlimited Wi-Fi and access to our welfare facilities on both the ground and first floor along with a kitchen including microwave, kettle, fridge and sink area as well as dining space.
We welcome booking enquiries from everyone but we especially love to work with community and arts projects so please do enquire with your ideas and we will get back to you as soon as we can to help your project come to life

Main Hall
The main hall in Maister is roughly 12.5m x 7.5m. It is suitable for large rehearsals or classes, acoustic recordings, workshops, fitness classes, exhibitions and fairs, among many other things.
Facilities available:
- 70 chairs and music stands
- Two grand pianos, including a very nice Bechstein – access by prior arrangement
- Sound and video equipment, including projector and screen – access by prior arrangement
Lecture / Conference Room
This room, on the first floor at the front of the house and overlooking High Street, measures 10.6m x 5.5m. It is perfect as a conference room or classroom, as well as a rehearsal room, for workshops or as exhibition space.
It has available a white board, projector, PC, printer, electric piano and selection of desks and chairs.
