Teacher – Cello

Kathryn is an experienced ‘cello teacher, having taught individual and group ‘cello lessons for over 35 years in Kent, County Durham and Hull. Her pupils have ranged in age from 5 years to retirement age.
Kathryn moved from the north-east of England to study on the Graduate Diploma course at Trinity College of Music, London. Her teacher was Royal Opera House (and former Electric Light Orchestra) cellist, Colin Walker.
She enjoys teaching and playing locally in Hull and the East Riding and is a cellist in the recently formed East Riding Concert Orchestra.
Kathryn is keen to provide a comfortable learning environment in which pupils can develop musical and technical awareness whilst, at the same time, having fun.
